BMI View: Côte d'Ivoire's current account deficit is forecast to widen from 1.7% of GDP in 2009 to 5.2% by 2013, but this will primarily be due to invigorated demand for imports on the back of stronger growth. Indeed, exports are expected to continue rising over the same period.
