BMI View: Cameroon's use of the CFA franc, pegged to the euro, has helped it avoid the high inflation rates seen across much of sub-Saharan Africa. We see inflation dropping to 3.1% by the end of 2009, from 5.3% in 2008. We forecast inflation holding at close to 3.1% over 2010.
