Macroeconomic Forecast Tanzania

BMI View: Tanzania's International reserves totaled US$3.6bn in September 2009. Reserves have been supported by continued donor support and the disbursement of the IMF's exogenous shock facility over the course of 2010. We expect foreign reserves to gradually accumulate over the forecast period although the government's reliance on donor support means that international reserves remain susceptible to withdrawal of this support.
