BMI View: The end of period inflation came in at 3.1% for 2010, the highest figure Uganda had experienced since July. We expect that this is a signal that inflation has bottomed out and will continue to tick up into 2011 and 2012, driven by rising commodity prices and the onset of oil production in 2012.
