BMI View: We believe that the Tanzanian economy will grow by 5.1% in 2010 marginally up from 4.9%. We stress, however, that the headline figures mask the true direction of underlying activity as the 2009 figure was 'supported' by a precipitous decline in imports, while we expect the 2010 figure to be dragged down by their recovery.
