Tourism Has Potential To Drive Growth

BMI View: Tourism in Namibia has the potential to drive headline GDP growth as well as provide a valuable means of reducing unemployment, estimated to be up to 50%. While the country has experienced strong growth in the past decade thanks to mineral exports, recent events have caused authorities to recognise the need for a broader-based economy.
