BMI View: The African Development Bank has announced plans to give Cameroon US$1.34bn in grants over the next five years to help boost the nation's mining, forestry and agriculture sectors. This should help boost real GDP growth, from an estimated 1.6% in 2009 to 3.1% in 2010.
