Mugabe's allies accuse Timba of insulting the president, an offence under Zimbabwe's draconian security laws, when he said that Mugabe had lied about the outcome of a recent regional summit on Zimbabwe. Timba was held for three days in late June without access to his lawyers, before being released in accordance with court's order.
