The leader of the National Consensus Forces, a grouping of the main Sudanese opposition parties, has warned that Sudan could be the next Arab country to see a popular uprising. Farouk Abu Issa told reporters that he believes anger over economic hardship and political repression is growing and that because the ruling regime is very unlikely to reform, the most likely outcome will be revolution.
