M&D Construction and Electrical Company, owned by the brother of the chairperson of the NAD15bn (US$1.8bn) Targeted Intervention Programme For Employment And Economic growth (TIPEEG), has been accused of breaking tender rules for a NAD10mn contract. M&D was allegedly allowed to hand in its tender two hours after the deadline, in order to wait until its competitors' tenders had been opened and marked.
