Tapping The Growth Story

Like most of its GCC neighbours, the Kuwaiti economy has held up relatively well in 2011, and in spite of a gloomy outlook for much of the world economy, we remain optimistic about the Gulf state's prospects heading into 2012. However, with the state-owned oil industry being the primary driving force behind the economy's steady performance, and with a complex regulatory system hampering the business environment, it can be difficult for international investors to tap into this growth. Nevertheless, we see significant potential for investment in Kuwait in the years ahead.
