Sudan

The Sudanese authorities have implicated Israel in a car blast which killed one person in the eastern city of Port Sudan in May. Without making a direct accusation, Sudan's foreign minister said that the explosion bore the resemblance of a similar blast in April 2011 which Khartoum blamed on Israel. The Israeli government, which considers Sudan an enemy state due to a belief that the African country is the source of weapons smuggled into the Gaza Strip, refused to comment on the incident.
