Madagascar

Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina visited his Angolan counterpart Jose Eduardo dos Santos in late May. The meeting was said to cover existing bilateral relations. Angola and Madagascar are both members of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) although the latter was suspended from the organisation following a coup which ousted former President Marc Ravalomanana and saw Rajoelina take over the presidency.
