Women in Saudi Arabia are renewing their campaign for the country's driving laws to be liberalised. Leaders of the 'Women 2 Drive' campaign, which began last year when dozens of women posted videos of themselves driving on social networking websites, have called for women to get behind the wheel over the coming months. Although there is no official legislation banning women from driving, only citizens with locally-issued licenses are permitted to drive, and such licenses are not issued to women.
