Zambian President Michael Sata has warned foreign diplomats working in the country against interfering with internal politics, which he claims has been a problem in the past. He did not accuse any embassies by name, but the comments came as he received letters of credence from Germany, Nigeria, and Somalia. Sata said that 'it would be very embarrassing to hear that a diplomat had been sent back' for violating the policy of political neutrality. He also recommended that diplomats tour all the provinces of Zambia to better understand the country.
