After the Gaza withdrawal, world attention is likely to return to the 'roadmap' peace plan, meaning there will be pressure to come to an agreement with the Palestinians on the West Bank. While there seems to be popular support for maintaining the largest West Bank settlements (especially those around East Jerusalem), there is less backing for the smaller settlements.
