Following an attack such as that suffered by Amman in November, the economic impact would be expected to manifest itself in three main ways: firstly, general disruption of economic activity in the immediate aftermath; secondly, longer-term damage to Jordan's tourism sector and role as a regional business hub; and thirdly, negative impact on investor and consumer confidence.
