The Tunisian economy’s ability to attract large capital inflows and the improving current account position should yield a further improvement in the foreign exchange reserves position in 2006. BMI’s projection of reserves of US$4.3bn for 2005 was slightly below the Central Bank’s figure of TND5.73 (US$4.65bn), and our forecast of reserves of US$4.7bn in 2006 now looks conservative
