Our outlook remains bullish, and we see real GDP growth averaging about 7% over the forecast period. Inflation is still somewhat above the desired level, compared to that in trading partner countries, but that largely reflects world oil prices and the effects of drought on the price of staple consumables, which constitute about 50% of the consumer price index basket. Nonetheless, the central bank seems to be on top of the situation, and the exchange rate will probably help as well, as it is expected that humanitarian assistance for drought victims and further debt relief from official foreign creditors will
