We are more pessimistic than the government and expect to see 2005/06 growth of 5.3%. With significant domestic political instability and trouble simmering on the Eritrean border, we cannot see the economy achieving anywhere near the estimated 11.6% and 8.9% growth of 2003/04 and 2004/05.
