BMI View: We do not believe that allegations of anti-democratic practices in Tunisia will threaten the stability of the ben Ali Regime. While latest reports of attacks on female activists will do little to improve the government's reputation for human and civil rights, the stability which keeps the business environment attractive will remain in place.
