Macroeconomic Forecast Zambia

The improving state of Zambia's macro-economy is ground for optimism, although many tough hurdles undoubtedly remain. We forecast real GDP expansion of 6.0% this year and in 2007. We have revised down our average inflation forecast for this year from 13.3% to 9.5% in view of recent data releases.
