November 2006 | Macroeconomic ForecastsWhile Tunisian external debt levels have been rising in nominal terms, the country's debt-to-GDP ratio has remained fairly stable and we expect the measure to fall over the forecast period. Indeed, the government's willingness to pre-pay US$1.56 worth of debt from privatization revenues earlier this year bodes well for the country's future debt dynamics.
