Macroeconomic Forecast Morocco

January 2007 | Macroeconomic Forecasts

Morocco looks on the way to achieving our real GDP growth target of 7.4% and indeed may overshoot this with continued robust growth in Q406. As agricultural sector expansion slows from its highs in 2006, having been boosted by bumper harvests in 2006, we expect the economy to expand by 4.0% in real terms, supported by solid growth in mining, energy, commerce, building and public works sectors and also manufacturing to a lesser extent.
