Could Populism Hurt Mediator Role?
January 2007 | Economic AnalysisBMI View: Although we expect Egypt to maintain its role as a mediator between Israel and the Palestinians, there are signs of tensions, and this role could be diminished going forward. As long as public sentiment is anti-Israel, the relationship will remain a strained one.
