Short-Term Turmoil Will Be Net Positive

BMI View: With both President Moshe Katsav and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert having been under intense pressure to resign of late (and with the former having succumbed on January 24th), there is considerable uncertainty surrounding Israel's political future. However, we believe that any change resulting from the current turmoil will likely be preferable to the status quo.
