March 2007 | Ratings UpdateRelations with Israel appear to be slightly cooler of late, which is likely a reflection of both domestic and regional politics. On the home front, anti-Israel sentiment remains high, particularly after the Lebanon war last summer and the boycott of Hamas. Moreover, the film purportedly showing the Israeli Shaked Reconnaissance Unit killing 250 Egyptian prisoners of war continues to resonate, in spite of the clarification that the victims were in fact Palestinian Fedayeen and not Egyptians.
