Algerian growth should average over 4.5% annually over the forecast period, underpinned by expansionary fiscal policy. We see oil prices moderating, from US$60.8/bbl in 2006 to US$54.5/bbl this year, though both the fiscal and current account positions will remain more than comfortable.
