May 2007 | Macroeconomic ForecastsWe have left our real GDP growth forecasts unchanged, and continue to project growth of 4.4% this year and 4.5% in 2008, falling to 3.3%, 2.9% and 3.2% for the remaining three years of the forecast period. We are sanguine about this outlook: it is a slowdown, but we see a slowdown throughout the region as oil prices fall and the lagged effect of slowing global growth begins to hurt.
