Election Season Starts Early

With parliamentary elections scheduled for July 22, the focus is on the composition of the next government. BMI 's core scenario is that the AKP will emerge as the largest party but that, unlike now, it will have to enter into a coalition, most likely with the DP - a merger between the centre-right DYP and ANAP parties. That said, a coalition government excluding the AKP is possible. However, whatever the result, we do not expect a change in economic policy direction.
