Inflation Peaked?
June 2007 | Market StrategyBMI View: Although upside risks remain, there are signs that annualised inflation growth in Zambia has peaked for the current cycle, with two straight monthly contractions in money supply and encouraging exchange rate dynamics likely to ease price pressures going forward. Stability in the exchange rate and food prices are of particular importance to achieving overall stability in prices in the country.
