June 2007 | Risk SummaryOngoing ethno-sectarian tensions in Lebanon, a disintegrating Iraq, and the standoff over Tehran's nuclear ambitions present potential threats to Qatar particularly in the form of imported terrorist activity or damage to business sentiment. Still, we feel that these risks remain minimal and Qatar's skilful diplomacy helps to mitigate the fallout in the case of a major flare-up in any of these areas.
