Angolan Foreign Minister Joao Miranda spoke on the subject of bilateral relations with South Africa, in Luanda at the opening of the second session of the Angola/South Africa Bilateral Commission on November 20. The minister commented that economic relations at present do not reflect the historical ties between the two countries. As such, he encouraged both the governments of Angola and South Africa to implement with dynamism the agreements signed at the meeting; the agreements relate to oil and tourism.
