June 2007 | Macroeconomic ForecastsBMI View: After changing some of our core forecasts last month (including a rise in our CPI forecast for 2007 to 20%), there is no change this month. Our GDP growth forecast remains at 6% for this year. Given the low base of activity, the country''s huge potential and signs of foreign investment in key areas, this may appear conservative. However, concerns about political stability, mixed signals from multilateral donors and central bank financing of the deficit all keep a lid on
