China's Quest For Oil

State-owned Chinese oil firms CNC (China National Offshore Oil Corporation) and CIOG (China International Oil and Gas) have signed a production agreement with the Somali government, with the aim of discovering hitherto unknown oil reserves in the war-torn country.
