August 2007 | Market AlertEthiopia's economy has been growing steadily since 2003, aided by favourable weather conditions and a recovery in the agricultural sector. This positive performance is set to continue; GDP is expected to expand by 9.4% in 2007 (fiscal year 2006-07). Although the agricultural sector remains the dominant component of GDP, manufacturing, construction and services have also begun to expand.
