Macroeconomic Forecast Kenya

September 2007 | Macroeconomic Forecasts

BMI View: We expect growth to peak at 6.3% y-o-y in 2007, after which it should moderate to 6.1% for 2008. The current account, while still in deficit, is on an improving trend this year and the next in our view, buoyed by the strong performance of exports.
