Sudan's budget is forecast to move back into the black in 2007, totalling 2.8% of GDP, a change that BMI finds encouraging. Twinned with strong growth rates, with real GDP forecast to expand by 10.30% in 2007, Sudan's economy is doing well in spite of the ongoing turmoil in Darfur.
