Market Awaits Eurobond

BMI View: Robust demand for external debt issues by Ghana and Turkey bodes very well for the putative Kenyan Eurobond, as it signals ample appetite for emerging market sovereigns. Kenya is not without downside risks - the December presidential poll chief among them - but strengthening macro fundamentals and significant funds chasing limited external EM debt supply will stoke demand for the prospective Kenyan bond.
