On the back of stronger than expected growth in H107, real GDP growth is likely to reach 6.7% in 2007, led by strong growth in the manufacturing and agricultural sectors. Global increases in the price of food and commodities will bode well for Kenya's economy this year. Going forward, we forecast a small drop to a still strong 6.1% real GDP growth rate in 2008.
