Maiden Eurobond Rated
September 2007 | Market AlertGhana's forthcoming maiden sovereign bond issue has recently been processed through the rating machinery at Fitch and Standard & Poor's with both agencies placing it on a par with the country's foreign currency rating of 'B+'. The agencies appear to be singing from a similar hymn sheet as far as the risk/reward trade-off of the bond is concerned.
