IMF Re-engages
September 2007 | Economic AnalysisBMI View: Recent favourable political developments are being recognised by a renewed interest on the part of the international donor community to help Guinea escape from poverty. A new IMF facility is being prepared and, if all goes well, will produce significant debt relief, but the government will need to prove it can keep its side of any bargain.
