BMI View: Our forecast for real GDP growth of 6.7% in 2008 is below the government's 7% target - principally because we believe high oil prices, inflation and infrastructural weaknesses will take their toll on the economy over the year. This will be a peak year for growth in our view, with the 2009 forecast standing at 6.3%.
