March 2008 | Risk SummaryOpinion polls continue to show Binyamin Netanyahu's Likud party ahead in projected parliamentary election results, but the latest survey by Yedioth Ahronoth gives it a smaller lead than previous ones have been showing. According to the data, compiled from a survey taken on March 26, Likud would take just 26 seats (down from 31 in the previous week's survey), while Ehud Barak's Labour would claim 19 and ruling party Kadima would increase its projected share to 16 (from 13 last time). One swallow does not make a summer, though, and we would need to see consistent results like this one
