Looming Water Crisis
April 2008 | Ratings UpdateThe looming water crisis in Ghana has made water supply a key political issue ahead of the December 2008 presidential election. In recent weeks, several of Accra's neighbourhoods have suffered supply stoppages and the Ghana Water Company says it is no longer able to supply even half of the 150mn gallons of water required by the city each day.
