According to latest central bank data, headline inflation jumped to 9.0% y-o-y in February, which marked a sharp increase from 8.4% y-o-y in January and 8.1% y-o-y in December 2007. In our view, with inflation expected to increase further over the coming months on the back of surging food and commodity prices, we believe that price pressure are likely to ease only slightly to 8.0% y-o-y at the end of 2008.
