A More Robust Transport Network?
May 2008 | Economic AnalysisBMI View: Talks have been revived regarding the potential for a new rail line route linking Zambia to ports in Angola. Besides improving the country's transport infrastructure capacity, the link would provide an important alternative route for Zambian resources that could be necessary if regional unrest limits Zambia's access to neighbouring rail lines.
