June 2008 | Macroeconomic ForecastsWe are forecasting further depreciation in the value of the Libyan dinar during the second half of 2008, to LYD1.25/US$, down from a current level of LYD1.19/US$. The dinar is pegged to the IMF's Special Drawing Rights (SDRs), which track a basket of global currencies, including the US dollar, the Japanese yen and the euro.
