June 2008 | Ratings UpdateAccording to security sources, eight soldiers, two firemen, a local man and a French engineer were killed on June 8 by two bombs, which were detonated in quick succession at a railway station in Beni Amrane, east of Algiers. In separate incidents, two people were killed near a military barracks on June 4 and six soldiers died the following day when their convoy hit an explosive device.
