New Budget Decreases Aid Dependency
June 2008 | Economic AnalysisTanzania's new budget intends to increase revenues as a percent of GDP, in an effort to offset dependency on foreign aid. If donor aid projections are met, the government should have a fiscal balance of zero in 2008/09.
